Review by hotel critic
I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Woodlands Hotel in Sidmouth, a true gem in the heart of Devon! The spacious and immaculately clean room was a breath of fresh air, and the massive bed made for an incredibly restful night. I appreciated the hotel's central location, just a short stroll from charming pubs and the stunning sandy beaches, which made for lovely evenings soaking up the local vibe, especially with my friends. The lush garden offers a wonderful spot to unwind, and the conservatory's light and airy feel was perfect for enjoying a hot cup of coffee while contemplating our next adventure. Breakfast was satisfying, although not radical, but it certainly fueled us for a day of exploring Sidmouth's craft stores and the marvels of the Jurassic Coast. I can't recommend Woodlands Hotel enough-it's a charming base for discovering all the beauty this coastal town has to offer!
